The use of mobile phones by millennials, for the purposes of this paper, refers to a system of expression based on emojis or emoticons, in a different sense from other generations.

In the framework of coercive political systems, public security subsystems are distinguished by the establishment of agendas focused on crime prevention, justice delivery and social rehabilitation. However, the relationship between rulers and ruled has been disrupted as security sub-systems have moved towards private security strategies such as video surveillance and the hiring of bodyguards.

Global organisations are distinguished not only by their international market influence but also by their strategic alliances with local companies; micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as subsidiaries of transnational or multinational products. A review of the most emblematic cases suggests that global organisations have developed intellectual capital formation strategies that reflect their competitive advantages.

Migration, understood as a process of acculturation, multiculturalism and interculturalism, implies asymmetrical relations between groups. This is so because migratory flows, according to the sociopolitical approach, seek to reestablish occupational rather than economic flows. In this sense, labor moves from emerging countries to developed economies on the basis of sociopolitical guidelines that legitimize the State's steering role in security, migration and employment.

A pesquisa documental permitiu a discussão de duas opções de empreendedorismo social: uma orientada para a conservação da natureza e outra para a exploração dos recursos naturais e o consumismo dos serviços públicos. Assim, foi possível antecipar cenários de estudo em que a análise relacionada com o local e o sustentável partiria de: percepções, crenças, valores, conhecimentos e competências; o que permitiria explicar estilos de vida austeros ou consumistas.

The documentary research allowed the discussion of two options of social entrepreneurship: one oriented towards the conservation of nature and the other towards the exploitation of natural resources and the consumerism of public services. Thus, it was possible to anticipate study scenarios in which the analysis related to the local and sustainable would start with: perceptions, beliefs, values, knowledge and skills; which would allow explaining austere or consumerist lifestyles.

La ricerca documentaria ha permesso di discutere due opzioni di imprenditorialità sociale: una orientata alla conservazione della natura e l'altra allo sfruttamento delle risorse naturali e al consumismo dei servizi pubblici. È stato così possibile anticipare scenari di studio in cui l'analisi relativa al locale e al sostenibile sarebbe partita da: percezioni, credenze, valori, conoscenze e competenze, che avrebbero permesso di spiegare stili di vita austeri o consumistici.

Die Dokumentationsrecherche ermöglichte die Erörterung von zwei Optionen des sozialen Unternehmertums: eine, die auf die Erhaltung der Natur ausgerichtet ist, und die andere, die auf die Ausbeutung der natürlichen Ressourcen und den Konsum öffentlicher Dienstleistungen abzielt. Auf diese Weise war es möglich, Studienszenarien zu antizipieren, in denen die Analyse in Bezug auf das Lokale und Nachhaltige bei Wahrnehmungen, Überzeugungen, Werten, Wissen und Fähigkeiten ansetzt, die eine Erklärung für einen sparsamen oder konsumorientierten Lebensstil ermöglichen.

La recherche documentaire a permis de discuter de deux options d'entrepreneuriat social : l'une orientée vers la conservation de la nature et l'autre vers l'exploitation des ressources naturelles et le consumérisme des services publics. Ainsi, il a été possible d'anticiper des scénarios d'étude dans lesquels l'analyse liée au local et au durable commencerait par les perceptions, les croyances, les valeurs, les connaissances et les compétences, ce qui permettrait d'expliquer les modes de vie austères ou consuméristes.

In short, this book opens up the possibility of both informing and promoting research on governance and citizen participation. The work of the author is therefore to be acknowledged, as this text stands as a valuable effort to give the reader a deep and broad perspective on governance and citizen participation. It is clear that the social phenomenon and concept of governance is, for practical purposes, quite contested.

Mountain tourism has been a banner of local development that this paper has addressed as a research problem around the experience and meaning involved, but unlike the marketing or critique of this human activity, the present study rather set out to interpret the discourses and narratives of mystical, anthropocentric and ecocentric evocations in order to deepen understanding of what appears to be a juncture of past and future in the present, known as symbolic processualism. An exploratory, cross-sectional, interpretative and retrospective study was carried out with a purposive selection of participants and informants. Lines of research concerning the figurative and historical core of social representations are evident, as not only a distinction between experiences and discourses, evocations and narratives is ethnographically recognised, but also a collective construction of the meaning of the mountain based on the opportunities and capacities of access.

The reader will note that the issue of security has been approached from eight dimensions: 1) democratic, 2) private, 3) regional, 4) urban, 5) national, 6) social, 7) public and 8) citizen. The book approaches the prospective of public security administration from a meta-analytical logic in order to anticipate the rule of law, crime prevention, justice and rehabilitation.
