SING INTO THE SILENCE: what each and every Christian is called to do. Once we have received the Holy Spirit, He sings a NEW song for us in us, and through us. WE ARE ABLE TO SING OUR SONG INTO ANY SILENCE THE WORLD GIVES US.SING INTO THE SILENCE IS ONLY ONE OF MS. DEXTER'S 10 BOOKS OF RELIGIOUS POETRY., SHE HAS RECEIVED THE NASB BOOK ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR TWO OF HER BOOKS, THE FIRST ONE, I WILL NOT BE SILENT, PRAYING THE PSALMS, AND FOR AN OVERFLOWING VESSEL.MS. DEXTER LIVES IN A SMALL TOWN IN WISCONSIN WITH HER HUSBAND OF 60 YEARS. THEY HAVE ONE SON.
Surrender to the Silence.Listen to the pulse of wonder.Diffuse the shadows of the darkness.Life is more than merely living. Visualize Elijah, hiding in the dark silence of that rocky cleft as he waits for the Glory of God to pass by. As we listen and surrender to the still, small voice of God, we grow in faith. If by sharing our faith we are able to encourage other believers, or to influence another to believe in God, then we must share this faith. I have experienced God's presence in my life. Surrender to the Silence is my response.
Is there a moral decline in society? I only know, that when fears fall away, true faith can begin. Selah! Pause, and Reflect; Slip into the center, where your soul is at rest At home, with God. Ms. Dexter first published 52 Favorite Verses (Old Testament) for her congregation. Her next book was also a devotional, I Will Not Be Silent, Praying the Psalms (2011). Books of religious poetry soon followed: Surrender to the Silence (2013), Sing Into the Silence (2015), Conversations with God (2016), The Promise- from Advent to Today (2016), A Call to Arms (2017), and Playing God's Music (2018). She and her husband are both retired, happily living in a small town in southeastern Wisconsin.
Have you ever wished to have a conversation with God? Have you ever been distracted while you talk with God?When I pray, and distractions appear,And I request You to walk with me,We'll make all those distractionsA part of our conversation. And God says,"e;Look for Me . . . Expect Me . . . I set My vision of Hope before youTo anchor your soul."e;Sometimes we babble at God, and sometimes He seems to answer us. Usually the answer we think we hear is exactly the words we needed at the time. Conversations with God is an attempt to discuss thoughts such as how He wants us to change, or about our choices while we are in His presence, or how He wants us to help others. But God always desires that we give Him our thanks and praises.
