Silvina Ocampo:(1903-1993) anses for at være en af Argentinas største kvindelige forfattere. Hun har udgivet digte og noveller og skrev i den for argentinsk litteratur så typiske fantastiske genre. Hun voksede op i en meget velhavende familie og blev gift med forfatteren Adolfo Bioy Casares.
