The Colors of Love is a modern day love story based on the real lives of two young Philadelphians. Take this journey with Lauren and Akki (I-Kee) as they struggle to live their lives while trying to love one another. Motherhood is Lauren's top priority but she finds that sometimes she has to choose to be a woman first; Akki on the other hand is a man who happened upon love after he had already promised himself to another. Together Lauren and Akki struggle as they learn about themselves and one another but not without sacrifice and more than a few regrets. She has been victim, a victor and at times even a villain, but it's who she is in the end that is most important.
