Long Pond Road is the first issue of a new ongoing anthology series by cartoonist Todd Webb. This first issue clocks in at 142 pages and features new autobiographical comics, never-before-seen sketchbook material, biographical strips about the artists Georgia O'Keeffe and Ray Johnson, a selection of new drawings, the first 60 pages of Webb's epic in progress - Reading War & Peace, and more! Sure to delight fans of all ages, Long Pond Road serves as a catch-all for Webb's harder to find pieces as well as a home for new serializations. "Todd Webb's comics are less about chronicling life's events than expressing an unabashed love of living, good medicine for anyone in a bit of a funk." - Jeffrey Brown, bestselling author of Clumsy and the Vader and Son series.

Follow New Zealand's most famous literary export around the grounds of her estate as she struggles with the inability to create, and mentally battles the lingering spirits of those claimed by the sea. Based on Mansfield's diaries, The Continuing Adventures of Katherine Mansfield is both depressing and hilarious, as life often is. "What if Katherine Mansfield had drawn a diary comic? Misery, despair, existential angst - all rendered through a charming, poetic, modernist experiment. As Mansfield's compatriot, this makes my antipodean heart sing." - Dylan Horrocks, author of 'Hicksville' and 'Sam Zabel & the Magic Pencil'

The Poet is a daily comic strip about celebrating the little things and has been described as being like PEANUTS, but if Linus was an old man and Woodstock had an attitude. This is the first full-color collection of The Poet comic strips, and follows its uniquely thoughtful cast of characters: the Poet, the Pigeon, and the Park Bench as they contemplate our silly place in the grand scheme of things, the meaning of poetry, and donuts. It's a quiet comic for noisy times, guaranteed to make you chuckle, smile quietly, and/or nod knowingly. The Poet is for you. "I keep reading The Poet when I 'should be doing something else.'" - Lemony Snicket, author of A Series of Unfortunate Events"The Poet has a sense of humor about thinking hard and feeling deeply while not apologizing for such outrageous behavior. It's refreshing."- Hal Hartley, film director "Serene, existential, and self aware, Todd Webb's The Poet is a humorous and ultimately helpful respite from... everything." - Adam J. Kurtz, author of Things Are What You Make of Them: Life Advice for Creatives "These gently funny comics strike a happy balance between dreaminess and the corporeal world... an inarguably good thing."- Heather Christle, poet and author of What is Amazing "Todd Webb has figured out what poetry was missing all these years - PICTURES!" - Derek Drymon, executive producer of Adventure Time "I have been a joy-filled fan of Todd's work on The Poet for as long as I can remember. - Kevin Pollak, actor & comedian "Poets like poems, and birds like donuts. This Poet and bird share the crumbs of their life with love, and the occasional jab in the ribs." - John Porcellino, cartoonist King-Cat Comics & Stories "I love The Poet. It reminds me of how we can be delicate and pompous at the same time..." - Tom Hart, cartoonist & founder of The Sequential Artists Workshop "Webb whittles and peels back layers to find more and more in these spare but vast strips. A man, a bench, a pigeon; THE WORLD. They hang out up the street from Charlie Brown, Thoreau, Bushmiller, and Cage." - The Comics Journal, Best Comics of 2021

The story of a man named Bob, whose perspective on the world is changed by a pet goldfish. The Goldfish & Bob was the debut graphic novella from cartoonist Todd Webb when he was only 19 years old - the book was originally self-published in limited quantities in 2001, and featured by Top Shelf Comics in their original "Dot Comix" lineup. The short book was well received by critics and has survived the years circulating online, finally to be reprinted nearly 15 years later. As Jimmy Gownley (creator of hit Scholastic series "Amelia Rules!") put it: "Todd Webb's cartoons are not only a breath of fresh air, but a ray of hope. The Goldfish & Bob is one of the sweetest stories comics has to offer."

Using conceptual methods popularized in music composition by John Cage, cartoonist/musician Todd Webb creates the experimental comic strip series Chance Operations, one of the first truly "indeterminate" comics. Chance Operations is an exercise in allowing formal constraints to decide the content and design of a sequential artwork - while Webb draws the comics, he does not "write" them, so to speak, instead using coin tossing and dice to determine the images and texts which make up the work. Experimental comics artist Warren Craghead describes Webb's book as "Conceptually focused and stunningly drawn, Chance Operations is a radical and beautiful experiment you can't stop looking at. After reading one sees connections, narratives and beauty everywhere - this work helps me see the world as comics and makes me want to draw." A must-have for any lover of conceptual art, poetry, or experimental comics.

Valentine (A Cautionary Tale) is a sweet and sour love comic by acclaimed cartoonist Todd Webb. This collection juxtaposes hilariously dark little episodes with deceptively cutesy drawings and would make a perfect gift for a cynical friend who has recently gotten his or heart stomped on. Originally published in very small editions in 2005 and 2007, the new Second House edition sports beautiful new covers, color interiors, and more painful punchlines! "A gem!" - Punk Planet

The Poet is a daily comic strip about celebrating the little things and has been described as being like PEANUTS, but if Linus was an old man and Woodstock had an attitude. I Had A Leaf Stuck To My Shoe is the seventh collection of The Poet comic strips, and follows its uniquely thoughtful cast of characters: the Poet, the Pigeon, and the Park Bench as they contemplate our silly place in the grand scheme of things, the meaning of poetry, and donuts. Among the many delights in this collection, The Poet muses on repetition and routine as he releases a small book into the world, the Pigeon mistakenly thinks they are fugitives on the lam, and the Park Bench is a puzzle unto itself."The Poet has a sense of humor about thinking hard and feeling deeply while not apologizing for such outrageous behavior. It's refreshing." - Hal Hartley, film director"Serene, existential, and self aware, Todd Webb's The Poet is a humorous and ultimately helpful respite from... everything." - Adam J. Kurtz, author of Things Are What You Make of Them: Life Advice for Creatives"These gently funny comics give a glimpse of a poet making his way in the world, accompanied by a somewhat skeptical bird. The two in combination strike a happy balance between dreaminess and the corporeal world, so that what emerges is an overall sense of love for poetry and its makers - the kind of love that's intimate enough to make space for poking fun. (It also makes space for a talking bench, which is an inarguably good thing.)" - Heather Christle, poet and author of What is Amazing and The Crying Book"Todd Webb has figured out what poetry was missing all these years - PICTURES!" - Derek Drymon, creative director of SpongeBob Squarepants & executive producer of Adventure Time"I have been a joy-filled fan of Todd's work on The Poet for as long as I can remember. -What's that? How the heck should I know?! Now pipe down so I can finish writing thi- Oh, poop, where was I...?"- Kevin Pollak, actor & comedian "The Poet knows that small miracles abound if you look at everything as if seeing it for the first time, which is how I feel every time I turn the page in this new collection of funny, sad, strange and beautiful observations on art, life, friendship, and snowmen." - Will McRobb, co-creator of The Adventures of Pete & Pete"Poets like poems, and birds like donuts. This Poet and bird share the crumbs of their life with love, and the occasional jab in the ribs." - John Porcellino, cartoonist, King-Cat Comics & Stories
