A diabetic seven-year-old girl is taken from her family in a small town in upper Maine. The kidnappers have a grudge against her father, an ex-Navy JAG. They've demanded ransom money, but never call back to make arrangements. As time ticks on, the girl gets sicker. Investigators race to find her and make a gruesome discovery.

Breathe is a network of members, visitors and temporary partakers woven together into a community of writers. We all began in a local area, but since have grown and expanded to all points of the globe. This is our eighth book together. Within the pages, you will find all levels of writing, novice to advanced. All ages, 10 and up. Some of our group members have been published, some have not. We all seek to share.
