The Cold Edge of Heaven is a historical fictional adventure set in the Canadian High Arctic in the 1920's and based on Canada's determination to assert sovereignty over the vast area. In 1924, three constables, along with three Inuit guides and two small children were dropped on the windy gravel beach called Dundas Harbor. No amount of training could prepare them for years of hell frozen over, ice-locked isolation and unimagined physical challenges. Remarkably, the mental and emotional strains became even greater challenges. Mountie Will Grant is the only survivor. His comrades both die violently and mysteriously.
