Our hero begins to accept his prophesied role of Great Guardian as he once again must battle strong opponents to save his followers. Nerogron needs him to return. The inhabitants of Tau Ceti Four are counting on him to save their world.
More encounters with the shimmering pixies known as Nerai have him convinced that they are more important to his future than expected, and possibly responsible for the woes of all humans since their arrival on the strange, storm ravaged planet.
