On August 15, 1965, the life of Nils Henrik Ellefsrud was changed forever when two police officers showed up at his door with bad news. His cabin on Patricia Lake in Alberta, Canada, has exploded and burned down, two people are missing, and the only survivor is his daughter, TJ. A short time later as he sits by his daughter's hospital bed, Nils has no idea what has happened to his wife and TJ's nine-year-old twin brother. As Nils vacillates between his harsh new reality and his memories, he reflects on a time when he traveled to America to bring his long-time boyhood dream to reality and fulfill his wanderlust. While his recollections prompt him to question whether there is a connection between a strange conversation he once heard in New York and the current tragedy, Nils is led down a dark journey to what he hopes is the truth. But will he find the answers he so desperately needs before his time on Earth ends? Ashes to Strength shares the thrilling tale of a Norwegian man's life as he becomes intertwined with the mayhem with the Yukon and faces a great tragedy that leaves him with more questions than answers.

The strangest, funniest manhunt on the Equator by a bunch of amateur mole hunters, whose chase in a hot, humid island takes them from one farcical situation to another. They use all manner of tricks, from hypnosis to feng shui, to unmask and entrap the mole in their midst. Their one clue from their intelligence source is the enigmatic statement, "If you see him you would know." How should the mole hunters even begin their chase? The hunt for the mole brings out a serious concern: How do people deal with and make decisions on incomplete information? People may be presented with the same facts, but they often process the facts differently, and come to see different things. The brave ones go where the facts take them, even if the truth at the end of the road is an empty wasteland. The cowards process facts in an unthinking, robotic way, to make the truth fit their desire. The truth does not come in a neat package that you can take from a shelf for immediate use. The truth can only be found at the end of an honest process.
Trish Adams never imagined her new job at Audlin Motors would alter her life trajectory so profoundly. It was there she met fellow design engineer, Solomon Voss. To hide it away in a secret underground warehouse, where it will only gather dust, never to see the light of day. But is that enough?Trish teams up with Roberta Voss, Solomon's sister, as they are embroiled in a high stakes game of cat and mouse as attempts are made to erase the invention, and eventually the inventor, from existence.
This book is a fictional account of a Combat Tracker unit, set in Binh Dinh Province of South Vietnam in 1969. The story encompasses the formation of kindred bonds among nineteen and twenty year old males during that war, as they struggle to survive a deadly enemy, a hostile environment, indifference to their suffering at home, and their own inept leadership.
A romantic novel between a young man who moves to Virginia to study Law at Georgetown University and an older woman -Alice- who is a freelance photographer at a magazine in Washington, D.C. In the story there are also other important characters, among them Georgia and Susan; the last one is also the owner of the house where they all live. An entertaining fictional novel with fun, sad and passionate moments that will capture the reader's eye.
The book is a critical study of the evidence of the existence of the historical Jesus, a study of the records and the background data that supplies the context of first century life in upper Galilee Palestine.
I live in Sydney Australia with my husband and two white cats. I also have Bi-polar and schizo-effective disorder. Which means that I can't work full time so writing is an excellent way to make a bit of extra cash as well as have a creative outlet. I also have studied acting and singing but I have found my true calling to be writing, in which I hope I can also inspire other people to follow their dreams. I also love of course reading and watching movies. My good friend Rebecca Issac drew the illustrations for the book. In which I think she has done an excellent job.I hope you enjoy reading Little Peter Potty Mouth and I look forward to reading some feedback.Yours sincerely, Sabina Bucik
Oluwashola: The Story of Us. This is not just a book. It's Salt's life. Her sister, Sholly's life. Her family's life. In all it's perfectly imperfect glory. When her baby sister, Oluwashola (Sholly) Atunrayo Adefolalu Gaska died on December 28, 2016 in far away Poland, a part of Salt died along with her. She was going crazy and nobody knew it but the God in her. Eventually, he began to walk her through; guiding her to do things to help her make it through the black haze and writing this book was one of those things. PapaGod knew that Salt felt guilty about never sharing much of their family's past with Sholly. She always felt there would be time... but no. God had other plans. So, to redeem and heal myself, Salt has written a very long letter to Sholly, her AburoChild sharing her childhood memories and doing her best to paint a picture of the early days and years of the Daniel Oladele and Monisola Ramotu Adefolalu family. It's this letter you now hold in your hands. "Oluwashola: The Story of Us" is a beautiful story told in a very conversational style. It's sometimes funny, sometimes sad and sometimes quite ugly. Just like Life. Salt's prayer is that as you read, you will pick up as many lessons as possible; that you will be inspired to become intentional about 'Being Love' like God and that you will become determined to create as many memories with loved ones as you can.
The tides of evil are rapidly advancing through the seven mountains of society, leaving behind debris, destruction, and death. Their purposeful advance seems to be forcing the body of Christ into abject surrender and the belief that there's nothing that can be done. This is reminiscent of Goliath taunting King Saul and his beleaguered army into accepting submission, until a skinny shepherd boy who understood the covenant sauntered in. This is an end-time call to live a devoted life in the Spirit to establish kingdom authority-a life in the Spirit in which encroaching evil may retreat and victory may be accomplished daily. Love one another through divine submission: the love of the Spirit. Walk in the unity of the Spirit. Live a life of repentance and forgiveness. Pursue the restoration of all things. Unite love-sick worshipers who cry out for the King's return.
