In the intricate dance of life's ebb and flow, where hardships and triumphs waltz in unpredictable harmony, the heartbeat of love remains the enduring melody. This is the essence of an intimate journey chronicled through the eyes of a man sculpted by resilience, Saquan Minor. With candid vulnerability, Minor threads a narrative of trials, triumph, and transformation, unfurling the tapestry of his evolution from a child shadowed by absence into a beacon of paternal light. Born of struggle, yet refusing the mantle of victimhood, Minor navigates the tempestuous tides of fatherhood with a raw and receptive heart. As he steers through the cacophony of life's challenges and the calm of its fleeting peace, his chronicle shifts from a personal odyssey to a universal resonance, echoing the shared experience of fathers across the spectrum of humanity. Embark upon a passage through the formative years preceding fatherhood, the seismic shift when it dawns, the delicate art of maintaining its equilibrium, and the profound sacrifices that come with the title of 'Dad'. With the touch of a philosopher, the grace of a poet, the eye of a journalist, and the skill of a seasoned writer, Minor captures the very essence of paternal love and lays bare the soul-shaping power of accepting one's role as a father. As Minor welds the wisdom of experience with the timeless guidance from the generations that walked before and looks to the Creator for strength, he emerges not merely as a figure of paternal might but as a conduit for legacy, offering a poignant reflection on the alchemy of fatherhood. Herein lies an invitation to witness a story not just of a man or a father, but of an enduring spirit, finding within the crucible of life the gold that is purpose, faith, and boundless love.

For the next 3 years he was director for one of several clinics that was part of a local HMO. By the late 1980's he had developed a full-time clinical and forensic practice. This has continued to the present time and served as the basis for the book. He used to play a lot of tennis and racket ball, was a long-distance cyclist, a 10K level runner, and wilderness camper. He can still play a lousy game of golf, hike up to a couple of miles, lift weights, and do 10 mile bike rides. He remains a blues and hard rock fan as long as it's played LOUD. • af G Russell Dey
    187,95 kr.

Dr. G. Russell Dey has written several books about religion and spirituality in general. However, in this book he concentrates on the spiritual universe, the way in which it appears, who and what is there and its purpose. The book describes how the universe is divided into two divisions, the physical universe, and the spiritual universe. They exist in tandem but are separated by frequency modulation. So, we may experience one side or the other, but not both sides at the same time. The spiritual universe is entered by a human spirit after physical death occurs and the physical body is left behind. It is a place of rest and learning. The goal of which is improving the spirit so that it may advance toward its goal which is journeying back to its Creator. The book covers the real meaning of Heaven and Hell, angels and demons, Satan and people on other planets along with some related subjects such as Zombies, Vampires and Werewolves, and talking to the dead. Much research went into the writing of this book. It supplies references to support its positions on religious teachings taken from the Christian Bible as well as holy books and material from other religions. And it contains information that is probably new to most people. Both religious and none religious people will find it thought-provoking, interesting and informative.

Jah you know that I try to be a good man. I can fall short in so many ways when I'm trying not to. In this book, The people who looked down on me helped me to smile describes a journey that aims to search for this thing called a peace of mind. It's written poetically with themes of happiness, sadness, regret, motivation, determination, family, courage, love and ignorance. An ignorance to many things in life that we might not even appreciate that actually helps our wellbeing. This book is precise and gets straight to the point in terms of the emotions to the concept being discussed. There are words that will hurt and words that will help. The author asks internal questions that are a part of the journey to a peace of mind and through it all the reminder to try and be consistent prevails. It's not that people look down on you, that will always happen. However, through it all let's try to stay positive

In the early 1980s, Libyan forces crossed the border into Chad to help one side in the civil war raging in the country. France, the former colonial power in Chad, moved to thwart that alliance and the United States, alarmed to see Libya, a Soviet client, threatening to control more of the African continent, had its own interest in blocking the Libyans. "Out of Season" is a fictional account of the three-way interplay among the intelligence services but includes many real facts and events of that period. The novel also looks at the legacy of colonialism and its corrosive effects on the native populations; the relative power of beliefs; and how seemingly small choices made in anger can have life-altering consequences.

My name is Teresa Lewis and I live in Sin City (Las Vegas, NV, in case nobody knows where Sin City is). I spend my free time shooting pool and watching WWE John Cena (I never give up on life). I am divorced and I have four children and seven grandchildren. I love them all the same.Writing just comes to me as I am sitting anywhere. Most of the time I write my poems at work, lol. I used to work in a prison, so I guess you can say I had a lot of time on my hands lol. Now I work at a world-renowned place. I would hear a song and say "That would make an amazing title to a poem about what is going on in my life", whether it is good or bad.My life, I guess, you can say has been more bad than good. Lots of heartbreaks and sorrow. But I put on my big girl pants as my friends would tell me, and I made it happen. I have always wanted to publish my book, it has been a dream of mine for a very long time, even though I was always told I would be a nothing, so I hope you enjoy reading my poems and they put a smile on your face, and maybe some tears in your eyes. And just remember no matter how many times you want to give up, you just keep trying and one day your dreams will come true.Don't let anybody get the best of you!!
