This is the first in a series of poetry books. This set of poems is from the beginning. The writer is thirteen to fifteen years old--as the series goes, the writer grows. These are just some of the thoughts from a teenager's mind. Enjoy!

How the Soul Was Won is truly a work of God. It is his message to the world to let all people know how valuable they are. It is also a detailed description of how God has planned to win every soul through love and grace. It is my personal desire, through humility, that you understand I am the messenger of God.How the Soul Was Won is a byproduct of my many years of ministry as a pastor and a chaplain. What that means will be evidenced in some of the stories and events that have occurred for over twenty-five years. Many of these events that occurred I was as astonished as the patient, the parishioner, and the fellow servant involved. Therefore, this is a book about the Triune presence of God working in ways that is sometimes unknown to humanity to bless his people. This is not a book about theology, doctrinal standards, and who is right in the eyes of God. It is rather about the righteous nature of God, looking after his people through love and grace to transform the lost to the found, the sick to the well, the unhappy to the happy, and the few to the multitudes. From the beginning, God has planned to win your soul. The sooner we know this, the better we live.It has been my intention to share with this audience that soul winning is the work of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit through grace and love. This is God's victory, and you, me, and the whole world are the benefactors. We are children of God. This is a process where God deals with many circumstances of our lives for victory over them. And when each stage is won, it's onto the next stage to produce the peace that passes all understanding. I am hoping this book has at least a two-fold use: to read and discern your own transformation and, second, to pull back off the shelf when chaos of the world tries to challenge your faith, peace, and strength.

All humans have secrets and so does God. God's secrets are hidden treasures that needed to be discovered, treasured, and shared. While human secrets are hidden trashes that had been paid and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, on the cross once and for all! For God had promised us that, "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool" (Isaiah 1:18). And he has already removed our sins as far as the east is from the west when he nailed them on the cross. He also promised us this, "I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins" (Hebrews 8:12). For we died to our old life and our real life is hidden with Christ in God! Once, we were dead to the power of sin in our lives, but now, we are alive to God through our resurrection life in Christ!So don't beat yourself up! God is not finished with you yet. He, who began a good work in you, will finish it to the end. For he is the Author and Finisher of your journey to faith, hope, love. Your story is not finished yet until his story becomes your story, and that is the greatest story about to unfold for his glory!

The basic principle of this book is if anyone will submit their life to Christ, they will have success, stability in life, security, and a wonderful future. Dr. Soliman sets the essential steps to fulfill one's dreams, no matter what poor condition you find yourself in. God is greatly concerned about His Church. I am writing, not out of a desire to write books, but because God shared His heart with me and His concern. This book came from several dreams I had over a one-year period. I believe the Body of Christ is being called to repent, to rebuild God's Church, and become the bride that His Son Jesus will come to receive, "without spot or wrinkle."It is time for churches around the world to arise, shake off the sin and ways of the world, and move in power to raise up God's Church and be like Jesus: "be about our Father's business."I have one book in print, The Way of Escape from the Darkness, printed by Christian Faith Publishing in Meadville, Pennsylvania. This book needs to be in the hands of every pastor, church leader, counselor, consultant, mediator, and leader in higher education, organizations, the workplace, and any other place where there are two or more people having two or more opinions. Its goal is to help a congregation or organization build inner resources that could stabilize life together and produce a more adequate and stable organization for the future.The approach was a real lifesaver for the author who, as a relatively new pastor, was appointed to a church in conflict while working toward a degree in counseling. Applying her studies in family systems theory and narrative therapy to congregational life, she developed a model for conflict intervention in the church (and workplace).She claims she would have been "sunk" without the research, coursework, advisers, and the fifty-two hours of clinical supervision that went into it. Yet man says, "God is dead." I know He is alive in me as a witness.To all young people, there is only one power, and that is God's power. Take hold of His salvation!As you have finished reading these few memoirs (because all my experiences with God are too vast to contain in this little book), I appeal to you this day, as in Matthew 8:25: And his disciples came to him and awakened Him, saying, "Lord, save us, perish."I am saying to you now, "Ask Him to save you right now while you are in His presence." By creating a storybook series, we can create a wonderland of adventure and mystery. Exploring the different parts of the world and their cultures as our little friends look to find their new home. In the first book, we are introduced to Peanie, a cute little ground inhabitant who loses his way home in a storm and ends up on an unusual island with the funny little tree nutties, Knobbie Nutties to be exact. Here, along with Peanie, we'll meet the nine main tiny little tree flutterers and how they adopt Peanie into their family.We also will notice that the special trees called the Knobbie Trees where the Knobbie Nutties build their homes in are sick. The next book will show how Peanie helps them temporarily live on the ground until they can find a new home. The series of books to follow will be the adventures where the small group set off to find where Peanie is from and get him back home safely while at the same time looking for a new home for themselves.Along with the thrill of adventure, we can instill values and teach our children a lesson by the end of each book. I will illustrate that being different is a good thing. That we can each learn from our differences in a positive way. Children need positive reinforcements in their lives from an early age.These are cute, fun little characters with a whole new world to explore. I feel a child will embrace these lovable little Knobbie Nutties and enjoy their adventures together.

The perfect mug was made with endless love and innovation. The mug was young and full of energy. It was colorful, with hummingbirds and flowers drawn all over it. The mug was super excited to meet its new family to experience life. After tasting the warmth of love, the mug flew happily, thinking the blessing of love and life will last forever. But Lucy, the cat, knocked the mug, who passed out. The mug woke up in a fancy glass cabinet. The mug peered through the cabinet door and saw parties. The other mugs around the perfect mug were invited to the parties, but the perfect mug was kept inside the dark and silent cabinet. During each party, the perfect mug kept darting from one corner of the cabinet to the other and gluing its face to the cabinet door to peer through it and watch the excitement that was happening at each party. The perfect mug saw people coming and going. Trays of food were passed through the crowds. The mug envisioned itself attending a party and having fun at its first party.Has the mug finally attended the special occasion party? Come with us to join the mug on its journey and learn about the mug's dreams, feelings, and wishes.

This is a journey taking you into a young woman's unbelievable reality while trapped in a world that could have physically, emotionally and spiritually destroyed her-- a world from which only a few successfully escape and even fewer recover. From the beginning, God declared that we need to have a faith-based confidence in him, where we can understand our decision to accept Jesus as our Savior, and devotedly follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to do this, we must believe in the inerrant Word of God telling us who Jesus is, how we are to live, and understand the need for and way to salvation. Have you ever wondered what salvation is, why it is necessary, how it is attained, and how all the details your pastor wants you to conform to is part of following Jesus Christ? What is baptism? Who is the Holy Spirit? Why should I pray, tithe, or go to church? What does it mean to guard your heart? Is there a hell? And will God send you there?These and many more questions have been researched, applied using God's principles in a detailed fashion, written in an easy-to-understand manner, and are found inside, backed by the Word of God. Don't go through this existence guessing where you will go after life and what you should be doing before your death. Read your Bible to gain intimacy and knowledge of your Savior. Why go back to things that cause us sadness? We all dream of a perfect life, but at some point, we find out it's not, just like it was when Jesus walked this earth. I always told my kids when they were faced with difficult problems to keep their faith, but we have to discover that in our own journey of life. We all know darkness exists in this world. Almost every day, we see this played out in terrible ways on the news. Things seem so out of control for us at times. But the truth is, faith as small as a mustard seed can bring hope, and the light will shine through.

Have you ever wondered what the stars would say at night when they shine so bright? Do they have a story to tell? Wonder of the Stars will take you on a journey through time and shine a light on the amazing things of God and His people. Will the stars at night help you see God so brightly?

God uses me for healing with his sweet love through my hands where he places his anointing. God just wants us to know that he is there for us for the little problems that we may have in our lives. He is there to work it out along with the bigger situations. He wants us to depend on him, and he wants us to totally put our trust in Jesus so that it will all work out. Every event in this book only came to pass because of the trust and faith that these saints have in God. Every event is true because the Holy Spirit was at the beginning and the end of every situation. He not only let the saints know how he can work out the situation, he even taught them how to pay attention and to hear his voice to guide them out of harm's way. God loves us that much, and God will do what's necessary to take care of his saints. So thank you, Lord, for truly having me as part of our life.
