'You Will Settle Down' is an exciting novel about the clash of cultures, a love that is under pressure from the outside world, and a man's struggle to preserve his individuality and personality under the pressure from his surroundings. Bahram and Katayoun fall in love and marry in Iran but are forced to flee to Europe with their 5 year old daughter. In Europe, the family is confronted with a new culture, which sets in motion conflicts, both within and between the couple. Bahram can't free himself from the thoughts and memories of his homeland, while Katayoun does her best to start afresh in her new country. Based on the daily life of the family, the novel describes the hardship of starting a new life in another country and the clash of cultures immigrants face when settling in a new country.
