Our country of birth is not our true place of origin. We are all spirits who live in a body so we can occupy Earth for a brief season. So, where are you really from? Knowing and living in the reality of the right answer to this question makes all the difference in the world in determining the experiences we have here on Earth-powerful or pitiful. Our true heritage and lineage is of Christ. Christians must fully understand this if we, as a body, are to walk in the fullness of who we are in Christ here on Earth.Dr. Bridget has multiple degrees in business and religion. She uses it all to the glory of God because she believes that the only thing that truly counts at the end of the day is loving God and loving people. Bridget is married to Daniel for twenty-six years and counting and blessed with eight anointed children. They oversee Love Foundation International, having branches and daughter churches in America, Europe, and Africa with a vision of reaching the nations of the world with the love of God as revealed in Christ Jesus. Together they pastor a local church in Maryland USA.
For the past 50-some years I have been threatening to write a book. I''ve written poetry, political essays, letters-to-the-editor and stories about my life. Some of these are included here. Originally I wanted the title to be "Accidental Tourist" until I found that there is a play and movie by that title. Because I''ve often found life events and direction somewhat random, it came to me as a good description. Then, because of a need for a new title, "You" emerged. As a young teen, I read the prologue poem by Auden from a Look magazine page. At first reading, it assigns life''s negative influences to another. As I "matured", I came to realize that my "Overfamiliar Dense companion" is me -- each of ours. I preserved and reflect often on that original page.
This book is dedicated to all the broken and hurting people that may feel they have no reason to hope.To the ones that feel unloved and unwanted, even by our Savior, Jesus Christ. Be encouraged! He loves and wants you so much that He died for you! And you will never find any greater love than that!As you read this book, please allow yourself to let our heavenly Father, His Holy Spirit, minister to you as only He can. He has done it for me, and He can do it for you! Right now, you may feel that all hope is gone, but God''s grace and mercy is always available to those of us that choose to accept it. Allow yourself to embrace it as you read this book. God bless you.
It is the mid-1960s in Kingston, Jamaica, and the country is steeped in social, political, and economic inequities. Howard Baxter, the heir to a real estate empire, has no interest in seeking or managing wealth. Painting and deflowering Jamaican maidens are his passions. As he combs the streets looking for greater meaning in his pathetic life, it soon becomes apparent that Howard''s journey will not be easy. Bernaldo Lloyd, a member of the Baxter clan, is a medical student who is sensitive to the hopelessness of the Jamaican masses. Inspired by his close friend and Howard''s cousin, Ras Robin Pone, and their ties with the Rastafari movement that calls for social and economic equity, Bernaldo is determined to overthrow the corrupt government. As Howard, Bernaldo and Robin become influenced by The American Black Power and Civil Rights movements demanding equal rights for African Americans, the women in their lives both love and criticize them. But when revolution breaks out, Howard finally discovers a purpose for his twisted life that leads him in a direction he never anticipated. In this tale of love, passion, and self-discovery, three Jamaican men become caught up in a 1960s revolution that reveals injustices, oppression, and a purpose for one of them.
Squiggy Squirrel and his neighbor, Mr. Olly Owl, invite their feathered friends to Story Club. Perched on branches, the birds listen to the wise old owl''s fascinating tales. They learn surprising things about themselves! How did Mr. Olly know the answer that would solve their problems?"I''ve died and gone to heaven!" Squiggy Squirrel murmured. He blinked, rubbed his eyes, blinked again and shook his head. "I must be dreaming. If I am, let me dream on! This is too good to be true. I can''t believe what I think I''m seeing. It looks like a little puff of pure white cloud coming toward me."
William Harry McRaven, a retired US Navy admiral, said, "If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed!"I say even if you don''t care about changing the world and simply want to live a normal, simple, and happy life, you still need to make your bed. This bed is your thoughts, your ideas, your feelings, your beliefs, your knowledge, and your skills. This book is not complete instructions on how to make your bed. It''s more an introduction to open the door for discussions and debates that will guide you regarding how to get it done in a way that suits you!A common idiom is "The devil is in the details," because within the details you face all distractions, unlike the goal that is clear and shiny. But on your way to the goal, you may get lost in those details!CHECKMATE will help you avoid these distractions by looking at the details differently. Following the strategy in this book will make the details to your goal not just a path but more like a journey, and that will help you not just walk through it but also enjoy it. Only then will you be able to deal with any problem with a smile-like this!
What would you do if you had the opportunity to achieve a great thing ????You will ask what is this ???To create the human community again according to your desire and be a teacher and leader of that community. Establish its laws and build its foundations. What will you do then ?????What will you add ??? And what will be deleted? One of the values of this society. Keep reading to the last word and then make your judgment on my book. Please.

The Good Lord gave us 10 commandments, with wisdom to find the 11th, and that one is gratitude the 10thcommandment 11th and gratitude is the bed sock for success. Take this example, we often sit down and pray before we eat but we do not pray to say thanks for the good meal. Success in life is based on gratitude. Other ward we must give and take. In our society, we take but never give back. Another example is our trees that their leaves in winter. They fall to the ground to turn into nutrients to keep the alive to bear fruits for us the next season. Our society is filled with people who take and never give back anything.
The purpose of writing this children''s biblical training manual is twofold. First, to make available at an affordable price (for teacher and learner) a year of compiled foundational Christian character training information. Second, to simplify instruction for non-professional teachers (church school, Christian school, parents, home school instructors) by providing a detailed structured week of primary teaching and learning, which reinforces Christlike character in young children.
When I first decided to try publishing my poems and art, I knew nothing about the literary publishing industry. I take great pleasure in presenting my favorite poems and the art designed specifically for this book, which is published under GotoPublish. I thought of writing quality poems, which is why all the texts and illustrations in this assemblage are all original works of mine intended to reach a wide audience. This book is a collection of fifty impressionistic pictures, one hundred fifty lyrical poems from the Garden of Nature and Love in English, and one hundred fifty similar lyrical poems in Romanian. Author and artist: Estera Nanassy.
This book is about a clairvoyant who uses his powers and that of professional psychics to transform a corrupt, abusive workplace. His Uncle George would actually communicate from the Other Side as to what the supervisors were planning. Harry Barok also utilized ESP and holistic health, plus traditional medicine, to conquer bladder cancer. This is a journey of spiritual and personal growth, but with a very psychic bent. It''s also a tale of inspiration, faith, and belief in overcoming tremendous adversity. This reading inspires one to contemplate life''s destiny and purpose.
Pilate asked "What is truth?" We too struggle with the question and we search for an answer. Correspondence theory told us that we grasp with our external senses objective reality, and the truth lies in the correspondence of the mind to external objective reality. The problem is that, except for basic mathematical equations, this explanation does not account for the diversity of opinions, the conflict of ideas, and the clash of ideologies. This does not include, of course, outright lies, denial of facts, manipulation of data, the malice of fake news.We do not see things with the naked eye as they are. We see them from a certain perspective, from a specific point of view. A tree is not simply a tree. A tree provides restful shade to a weary traveler. It is useful lumber for the logger. It yields oxygen for a polluted atmosphere in the eyes of an environmentalist. It is an inspiration for a poem by Joyce Kilmer. In other words, it is foundationally a matter of, using a philosophical word, one''s epistemology. It involves one''s interests and concerns, it depends on what one considers important in life, the meaning he searches for in society and the world, how one conceives what life should be. We see, appreciate, judge from an epistemic standpoint. The acknowledgement of different epistemic standpoints is the basis for dialogue, for the respectful discussion of differences of opinion, for the legitimate clash of ideologies. The acceptance of multiple standpoints is also the foundation for cooperation in spite of differences, for the search of common solutions to common problems, and for solidarity for the common good.
Let me take you back to the earliest of childhood memory that I have of my father. Growing up in the province of Pampanga just outside the city of Porac, we didn''t have a lot of money. We lived in a small village just south of the province in a small hut. Like many families back then we made do with what we had and struggled just to get by like everyone else at that time. My father was in the Philippine Army and he would be gone for weeks at a time, sometimes months at a time. But I always knew when he returned home because I would awake to a bunch of grapes on my pillow. I would smile as I awoke and whisper, "Daddy''s Home."
