Curiosity compels Jackson Witt. After overhearing a tantalizing cell phone conversation, he impulsively follows the trail, only to witness the brutal slaying of his mistress's husband, a right wing, "e;hang-em-high"e; judge with a secret life. Given Jackson's history with the wife and subway surveillance videos that place him at the scene of the crime, he quickly becomes the only "e;person of interest"e; in this citywide manhunt. Fortunately, he has two assets: the phone itself which was inadvertently left on the New York City train and savvy reporter named Alba Gonzales who has a soft spot in her heart for Witt since their amorous college days. Jackson's journey for exoneration involves burglaries, dead bodies, wiretapping, gay reconnaissance, Ultimately, that curious cell phone which pulled him into this mess may be very thing that can save him.
Biblical Chronology Deciphered is a unique result of applying a scientific approach to biblical records to produce an exact biblical chronology. The Bible''s known time data are gathered and arranged to reveal only two pieces are missing, and one of these is available from two separate archaeological sources. With the assumption that the graciously preserved and well-accepted artifacts are valid, the only remaining piece of the puzzle is hypothesized and numerically evaluated to reveal the Bible''s claim: the mathematically defensible, biblical year of creation. The associated correlations from the finished result, plus solutions to ancient mysteries are astounding. You will learn the identity of the man who touched Elisha''s bones and resurrected, the exact day and year of Jesus Christ''s birth, the likely solution to the 666 puzzle in the book of Revelation, many patterns designed into time, answers to questions of atheists, and more. This professionally researched work contains many insights including translation anomalies and their resolutions. The book, written to both the lay reader and the scholar, will boost your faith while enlarging your understanding of the Bible.THIS IS THE ONLY ACCURATE TO-THE-YEAR BIBLICAL CHRONOLOGY IN HUMAN HISTORY! The author asserts that while it is impossible for any scientific method to definitively determine the age of Earth, it is scientifically possible to determine the Bible''s claimed-age and produce a precise biblical chronology.
In her book ''Faith in the Furnace ... and no Heat'', Nola documents an epic journey, recounting what she has consistently called her ''faith and health adventure''. She dramatically weaves the saga of her life and experiences, inclusive of the divinely coordinated experiences of others. Written with passion, candour and humour, she engages her readers, taking them through a gamut of emotions. Her transparency is refreshing, as well as her satirical wit. Undoubtedly, she unstintingly promotes the importance of trusting in God, demystifying the mechanics of having a bona fide relationship with a real God, who hears and responds to human need, irrespective of race, religion, class or gender. This book is a must read. It lays bare the quintessential element of a faith that can rise about circumstances, stand firm in the furnace and not be incinerated, but instead, exonerate the character of an impartial and consistently merciful God!

I have written many books which feature original art and original short stories-but after a pancreatic cancer scare (fortunately misdiagnosed), my son Stott suggested this as a topic for a book. My dear sister, Mary Ellen, advised me she didn't want to hear "e;death"e; in the title, hence the clever tease. It's apt. Actually some of the stories are hopeful, even funny.Some do deal with final days. Others address renewal. But what I discovered in this exercise is that nothing is more important. Life should not be about shopping sprees, escapism, and goofball sitcoms. So I did it? and a day before my chemotherapy, my esteemed doctor declared, "e;it's not cancer."e;
