Zora clarifies the purpose of a dog's life. In this, her third book, Zora has a long conversation with Sherman, the groomer's dog who conveys to her their true purpose in life. Throughout her travels she shares this knowledge with her dog friends, old and new. Zora also stops to visit her High Five, three-year-old friend, Roczen, whom she connected with during Zora's Travels. She overcame fear, and uncertainty, and concluded that dogs and cats from all walks of life can become friends. Little Zora shares her upbeat message of love and wisdom with everyone along the way."This sweet collection of short letters are fun to read where the mischievousness of Zora is hidden in them. A great read to share with kids of for them to enjoy on their own. I loved the message bout worth and love. Terrific book!" -Phyllis Smith, Texas"This sweet and humorous little creature brought smile after smile to my face as I read about her adventures. The self-confidence and can-do attitude are such an important message for children (but we adults sometimes need to be reminded too). This book is fun to read and to read aloud. The pictures are adorable. I can only hope that a sequel is in the works! Would love to know how she is doing." -Susan Baumler, New York

This story is a labor of love, about her late mother, Hannia, who proved that she was a survivor, against all odds. The author has previously written three children's books dedicated to family life, and service to others. Over the years, Iryna had dedicated herself to serving others in her capacity as a member of the Lancaster Lions Club, Cheektowaga-Lancaster Zonta Organization, The Depew Boys & Girls Club, The Lancaster Youth Bureau, and was the founder of the "Tri Community Girls Club, briefly held office on the Depew Village Board. Her mother's dedication of serving others encouraged Iryna to do the same. With that concept in mind, Iryna wrote her children's books, "The Lion Pride," "My Dozen Angels," and "Zora's Letters," prompting parents and their children to take pride in their country, and their community.
Kayla and Theo are little lions that love playing, as all lions do. In The Lion Pride, their mother teaches them about helping others and using their energy to make their community better. The Lions Club has a long history of community service and working to help others feel important and valued. Founded in 1917, The Lions' mission is to serve communities, give hope, and impact lives. In The Lion Pride, your children will learn alongside Kayla and Theo as they take pride in serving others and being kind.Children are the leaders of our future and learning early about being aware of others and their needs will ensure we have a world where kindness and love prevail.
Most children have heard and read about angels. It is this author's vision to give each child a special angel for the month, with a bonus angel which reflects them. Like snowflakes, no two angels are alike. Each angel can be individualized by coloring in the hair, and naming the angel. The angels also serve as reminders of family and friends who are born in that month. The birth stone and flower are depicted for each month, which may encourage children to grow their monthly flowers. To this day I still recite the first stanza of the Ukrainian Angel prayer which was the first prayer my mother taught us. "Angel of God, guardian of mine, always remain by my side, Morning, evening, day and night, always guiding and protecting me."All of Iryna's books are available in book stores everywhere.
