Fans of The Addams family, Mary Shelley, and eldritch horror will gobble up this deliciously gothic monster romance. For the last five years, Dahlia Grayskull has sought solace in the shadows of the decrepit, and supposedly abandoned, Rosemont Manor. She's been hiding from her reputation as the shrew of King's Fall, her wicked stepfather, and the shadow of something much more deadly. Unbeknownst to her, Lord Sebastian Rosemont has been watching her traipse through his deadly garden and read books to the graves in his yard. The Lich Lord is very protective over what he considers his, and Dahlia is his now...whether she knows it or not. When Dahlia's life and inheritance hang in the balance, she must submit to her mother's dying wish - marry or lose everything. Who better than a Lich to tame this shrew?
The Kattos Wife is apart of the King's Fall Universe/Realm but this complete set is a stand alone romance. This book contains all three parts! Minx owns the oldest standing pub in King's Fall that has recently grown thanks to its rising popularity. This means a few things: renovations, time to update the menu, and time to hire some more staff. Starting with one waitress shouldn't be hard? Right? Eloise Raven is a 25 year old divination wizard who hasn't had luck finding jobs in her field now that she's graduated from university. It's hard for a human to keep up with more powerful Oracles when your visions are less impressive but more in-depth. Her cousin, Frank the bartender at Minx's pub, gets her the job. The problem is, in a moment to prove her prowess as a divination wizard, she sees her own future with her new boss… in the walk-in cooler… and she's calling him Daddy. But Minx is a grumpy, older Katto (Cat Folk) who can't possibly be interested in the worst wizard in town, can he? Eloise comes to learn that there's more to Minx than battle scars, his rough but fluffy exterior, and his commanding presence. Minx comes to learn a new side of him when it comes to his good girl, and he's willing to give her the world… something he's never known he was capable of until she whimpered his name.Minx never expected to find love in King's Fall, let alone in the bubbly, pink-haired, human, divination wizard he hired to be his waitress. But life's funny like that. Newly coupled Eloise and Minx are thrust into the holidays. Kattgywl, a week long Katto holiday meant to celebrate love and mates, comes to King's Fall and hits hard. With the holidays comes family in the form of Roxie Mumford, the estranged baby sister of Minx. She's idolized him all her life as the big adventurer only to come to the harsh reality that her big brother wants this. He wants the busy pub in the metropolis city. He wants his cozy home with a magic library. And best yet, he wants Eloise Raven to be his wife.So it's decided. They're going to get married… if only they can get out of this civil suit unharmed. Eloise has begun to trust her instincts and use her powers to their fullest. She comes to realize there are a few paths before them and they're not good. Her and Minx have to work together to make it from a fantasy engagement to traditional Kattos Wedding while also navigating the court system of King's Fall. They have to learn to let the other person carry some of the load and to listen to each other if this is going to work. Because Mumfords are all or nothing, dive head first, and never come up for air. And Eloise is learning that even though Minx is Daddy… she can also take charge and be on top.
Dan is a shift Manager at Hauntings&Company, and every Friday he goes to Mumford's with his best friends for beer, wings, and games. And every Friday he sees the beautifully sad woman walk in with a large group of businesswomen. One day he strikes up the courage to go out and say hi to her. Before he knows it, he's giving her a piggyback ride through town, fueled by her laughter and beaming smile. If only he knew that the broken-hearted woman was the heiress to a fashion empire business full of old money. Cassandra hasn't had fun in a long time. Between managing the King's Fall shop for her family's Fashion business, a failed engagement to a trash man her parents set her up with, and an overwhelming pressure to be perfect, she swore off love and fun. But then a goofy, adorably cuddly Bugbear shows her that it is possible to order your cake and eat it too.
