The relationship between vitamin C and health is controversial. Double Nobel Prize winner, Linus Pauling, argued that ascorbate could prevent or cure heart disease, stroke, cancer and infections. Conventional experts disagreed, disparaging supplements in favour of fruits and vegetables. This book presents a new model, describing the action of vitamin C in health and disease. It demonstrates conclusively that the establishment has misinterpreted the evidence, potentially resulting in epidemic levels of avoidable disease. The dynamic flow model explains the current results and points the way for future experiments. Vitamin C supplementation could eradicate many diseases. In pharmacological doses, it could cure the major killers of the industrialised world. Failure to test these ideas may condemn countless people to chronic illness and premature death.

THE GREATER TRUMPS by Charles Williams The original Tarot deck is used to unlock enormous metaphysical powers by allowing the possessors to see across space and time, create matter, and raise powerful natural storms. Upon an ancient golden table, golden figurines perpetually move "by some magnetism of the Earth" to the "Great Dance" - that is, the rhythm of all things that happen in this world. The table and figurines are half of a set. The other half is the original Tarot cards. Together, it is believed, they have the power to explain eachother's mysteries, and maybe even manipulate time, space, and the elements. By some great coincidence, or movement of the Dance, two families are brought together who each have one half of the set. But when the pieces are reunited, all hell...and heaven break loose!

Marc Logan reluctantly took on the burden of humanity's dwindling hopes. In a daring experiment, Marc's mind is transferred into a combat robot: the ultimate weapon that could tip the scales in the war against a ruthless alien race. But before Marc can attempt to resist the invasion as a robot, even the last bastion of resistance is crushed, and humans are exterminated, leaving Marc in the most complete solitude. Immortal and invulnerable, an exile in a desolate land, imprisoned in an artificial body that can offer him very few pleasures: thus begins the new life of the last "man", torn between the desire for revenge and the longing for peace, teetering between despair and contemplation, devoid of a true purpose that can still give meaning to his existence... In this work, Dino Toniolo allows both his love for science-fiction and ethical and spiritual considerations to converge, making this text not only a gripping dystopian short-story but also, above all, an intimate coming-of-age novel.

In my ministry reaching out to international students over the years, I have been convinced that a deeper understanding of biblical hospitality helps us grow in our approach and welcome to strangers, whatever their beliefs. This book is written to equip and encourage churches to reach out to strangers in love with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How do we welcome those coming from elsewhere or those unknown to us? Do we realise they are people bearing God's image and loved by him, to whom an offer of peace with God and reconciliation is made? How are our churches adapting to increasingly multicultural towns and cities in our land?
In his second book, Chen Lim delves into a mind-bogglingly diverse array of topics, specifically in mind for those in their late teens to mid-twenties in the 2020s, the curious, and young at heart. The author of' A Fortunate Life - a Memoir of Friendship' writes: 'I wish that I've had a book like this in my twenties, or someone to hold my hand throughout those impressionable years.' He offers an unparalleled mirror to what Gen Zs' parents were like when they were younger, as well as a glimpse of what the future could hold for today's young adults living in Australia. What's the difference between equality and equity? How can I improve my sense of well-being? Does the 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' still exist in Australia? Should I prioritise marriage ahead of other forms of loving relationships? How do I navigate office politics? Filled with actionable tips, suggestions and intriguing insights, Chen's hope is for Generation Z to have a useful blueprint with which to navigate the ups-and-downs of early adult life, in their transition between the stages of maturity which await them. Now in his late forties, Chen reminisces on his younger years, and reflects on his present days while living in Sydney, and elsewhere. He shares his triumphs and tribulations - at times, some brutal truths - but with humour, generosity of spirit, and a sense of optimism.
