This book was written to the end that we do not procrastinate the day of our repentance, for our lives are given to us that we may prepare for eternity. After all, if we do not improve upon our time while in this life, there will come a night of darkness, as Alma put it, "wherein there can be no labor performed." (Alma 34:33)
