Bag om Guardians and Eagles
The story starts in present day Iran. A young entrepreneur has his business stolen from him, and his partner is murdered. Rogue elements of the Sepah-e-Pasdarem, the Army of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution, otherwise known to us as the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), are resposible for this outrage. The young man is forced to flee the country of his birth. He is granted asylum in the UK. He is successful in setting up his own business. Things are going very well, he is in a new relationship, and the business is thriving. Everything is thrown into jeopardy when he receives a visit from an IRGC agent. The agent threatens to harm the young man's parents, who are still in Iran, unless he assists the IRGC in some nefarious mission. The young man is in utter despair, he does not want to do anything to harm his new adoptive country, yet he wants no harm to befall his parents. Archie Pegg is on hand to listen to the young man's woes. He persuades the young man to accept Pegg's help. Pegg uses all the resources at his disposal, without involving the police or security services, to thwart the IRGC's plans. During the course of Pegg's endeavours, he puts himself in danger, and nearly loses his life. Can he stop what the IRGC are planning, and at the same time get the young man's parents away from the clutches of the IRGC?
