Everyone likes a good story. That being said, it means that everyone should want to make their story (the story of their life) as good as it can be; not simply an entertaining story, but we all should strive for a purposed story. Even more, as a child of God, your story has the potential to be life-changing for others.
His Story, Your Story, takes lessons from the birth, life, and death of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and uses them to teach others valuable lessons that promote a great story in their own lives. Many people see Jesus as the King of kings, which He is. But what some people fail to remember is that Jesus was sent to live a humble life in His incarnation and die a horrible death on a cross before His exaltation to the right hand of the Father. He was not born in a palace with the benefits of luxury. He was born in a manger. He showed the world that the beginning of a story does not matter nearly as much as what happens at the end of the story. This is one lesson of His story. What will your story be like? Your past is part of who you are, but it does not represent the whole story. You can change the story of your life in a good or bad way depending on your response to God's principles for living. You should choose obedience to God.
