The author, born in Holywood, has stepped back in time to capture some of what has been happening in the town of Holywood over the past years. In his book, he has brought to the fore snippets of news and information that people may be unaware of - or have forgotten. The book makes interesting reading in capturing small nuggets of time from the past in the town that are now gone forever. He has delved right back to the 1800s when some say life was tougher, others would say it was more relaxed, either way, one can get a very small comparison as to what was happening then and now.
