Who would have thought.... Suck up - More than putting your best foot forward, more than saying and doing the right things with a smile, sometimes you have to be a little cocky, strutting around outside your comfort zone. Time - After countless hours of cold calling and an equal number of rejections, after countless drives through several counties, I found the deal I wanted. I didn't feel like a winner during those long weeks, but I was an Olympic gold champion when the deal finally closed. Limitless - You and I don't need to settle for other peoples' limits. I cold called expired real estate listings until I got a lead, but that house had already sold. Instead of just thanking the man, I asked, "What else ya got?" That led not only to the purchase of his other property, but a new strategy that has added five more single-family homes to our portfolio, so far. Efficient - We scrimped and sacrificed for two years and refinanced other properties to pay off our home loan so we could restructure into a HELOC, then apply the BRRRR Method to our new properties. More important than any one of those principles is to Repeat. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Never be satisfied with just one good deal or one good outcome. Repeat these success principles again and again.
