This is the story of the second half of my solo-bicycle adventure to England, Scotland, Wales & France during the late spring and early summer of 1979. I was living a dream of mine to travel overseas and see the British Isles and the Continent, and was now setting out to explore Scotland, Northern and Central England and Wales before returning to Seattle, WA, on a Pan Am 747. The theme of my adventure so far had been the wonderful hospitality and graciousness of the British people in how they'd taken care of me and welcomed me into their homes.
