Tarah has moved into a dream house, a new box mansion out in pristine back country, with a village of old and creepy houses and sombre farmers who warn her against the tall mansion on the hill. Gradually she begins to realize she is the deciding factor in an age-long struggle between the farmers, and the sorcerer Jayhaya. The second story involves an ideal boyfriend, who turns out to be far too good to be true.
