After reading Hearing God by Peter Lord several times, I felt that Jesus wanted me to listen to His voice more frequently, which became a daily part of my quiet time. I would pick a verse or two in the daily chapter of the New Testament that I was reading, write a prayer to Father God relating to this and write the words, "Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe," and then begin to write what I thought Jesus might be telling me.
