Since retiring in 2005, he has written a nationally-syndicated newspaper column on Social Security issues and has published two books on that topic - but he has a lot more fun writing little stories for each of his five grandchildren. He ad his wife Becky, to whom he has been married for almost 50 years, live in Fort Collins, Colorado.
