She can relate because far off, in the back of her mind, Delores has a dark cloud of her own - an innermost secret that she has never, ever, ever told anybody. Not her family, nor her friends, nor her priest. Nobody.
Although Neal and Delores are drawn into the turf of the same adversary, they each have reasons to keep their investigations a secret.
