Bag om Newsworthy
Owen Walshís life is going surprisingly well. An up-and-coming journalist for the most popular and widely read online newspaper, Owen has quickly risen to fame through his edgy, new article series, Newsworthy, in which he reports on the mysterious deaths of men whoíve died in the prime of their life. His popularity, along with the freedom to write the stories he deems important, are a dream come true. The only thing standing in Owenís way is his little sister, Cara, who insists on keeping him anchored to the secrets and pain of the past, including their middle brotherís own puzzling death. The two encounter each other after years of estrangement and a series of murders, each believing that the other cannot be trusted. Her determination to get him to talk and unravel the mysteries of their childhood takes Cara down an unexpected path, more horrifying than she ever imagined. She desperately wants to uncover the secrets heís kept hidden all these years, but he just wants her to get out of his life. As the siblings each search for the truth, they walk a line precariously close to complete destruction. It soon becomes clear to Owen that theyíre both part of the same story and itís going to come to an end, one way or another, leading him to the question, ìDo writers create stories that mirror reality, or do the stories they write create reality?î
