Argentina 1960's -a young man, who is a student at the School of Enology, and his family, watch as an unexpected hailstorm destroys much of their grape harvest, threatening the family's livelihood and his future studies for becoming a winemaker. Travel with him around a red-light neighborhood where he will need to keep his humor and wit on his way to adulthood and his dream. Carlos Gasquez became a professional winemaker and worked in Mendoza, Argentina until 1982 when he landed in the Big Apple; he looked around but didn't see any vineyards and bought a handyman special instead in upstate New York. By way of Vineyard Management in Bucks County, Pa., Carlos spent seven glorious years in sunny California working in his profession in Anderson Valley pleased with life and his journey.
