Opening Wounds Since We Were Born - Alexandra Couts - Bog

Using automatic writing techniques, this book of poems, written between 2008 and 2014, covers one of the author's most experimental phases. These are closed, complex, and difficult-to-read poems. Eroticism and the absurd are very present in the initial phase of the book. The author's metapoetic style encompasses most of the poems gathered in Opening Wounds Since We Were Born. Many of these poems focus on poetry about poetry and the act of writing.
