Twenty five years ago, Veronica jilted Orville for Derrick, but now they are married. Orville, seeking revenge, turns Veronica's eldest daughter, Sonia, against her to the extent that she had to leave the matrimonial home. He tried the same with Veronica's youngest daughter, Nadine, but was rebuffed and ended up in prison. Veronica is back but Nadine is in charge.
