Trump won the presidency amid doubts and skepticisms. But as the mantle of leadership is unexpectedly thrust upon him, he must grapple with satisfying his political base, and mainstream America. Caught in a political impasse, he would resort to tyranny, authoritarianism, and even blackmail. He would revert back to the old mantra that got him elected - the 'let Trump be Trump, ' mantra. But every move he makes; every speech he makes; every condolence he gives, would redefine him as a racist, a tag he fights unsuccessfully to shed! Realizing he faces the prospect of isolationism at home and abroad, he would devise a new strategy, as old friends become foes. Leadership he would find out, is not as rosy as he thought.
