He has been married to his beautiful wife, Samantha, who is also an active duty soldier, for eight years. He is the father of Thomas, a three-and-a-half-year-old. Nevling is an active gamer who loves story-driven games, science fiction, fantasy, and history. In his free time while overseas, he writes novels.
