Through her love, devotion and faithfulness to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and her belief in the God of heaven and earth, we see the other-centered love that originates from the Divine Godhead. The book of Ruth though short in length is long in spiritual lesson for today's Christian and shows each of us how badly the Lord wants every person on planet Earth to be saved. Salvation was no afterthought. The Lord has wanted every soul in His kingdom, right from the beginning. He has wanted every soul to be one of His chosen people. The Book of Ruth can show us that.
