All throughout the Bible are recorded stories of God's goodness, grace, mercy, favor, and unconditional love which resulted in abundant blessings. Despite these abundant blessings, many of God's people walked in disobedience, idolatry, pride, rebellion, unbelief, unforgiveness, and unrepentance which resulted in divine discipline from the LORD. It will also encourage us to be hearers and doers of the Word, and to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who is the greatest example of doing the will of our Heavenly Father.
