Three women have been stripped naked, their throats slashed. Someone has put duct tape across their mouths and propped their eyes open. Fresh off her first case, FBI Agent Chase Adams finds herself on the road again, this time with a new partner. But before she can even arrive in Chicago, the killer strikes again, bringing the victim total to four. To make matters worse, the killer seems to be taunting Chase, leaving a trail of confusing evidence that leads to nowhere.The local PD is convinced that they're looking for a single suspect, a man who charms his way into women's homes before seducing and murdering them. Chase, however, isn't so sure.
