Bag om Silver Drifting
The war between Prussia and Austria had just ended. That's when Ludmilla's life begins with one failiure after another. The title of nobility is gone. The mother dies shortly after her birth. Her father sent her across the border as a child to smuggle silver and her stepmother makes life difficult for her and her brothers. Every single one of these adversities could have led to a collapse in life in Prussian Silesia at the end of the 19th century.
The only gleams of hope are her aunts, from whom she learns languages and the work with silver her father teaches her out of pure calculation. Despite all the defiance, Ludmilla has an irrepressible thirst for knowledge and a strong will to live, as well as the ability to foresee events. It is both a curse and a blessing, but it is precisely through this intuition that she makes decisions with which she can master her challenges.
At the age of 16, Ludmilla dared to set off, a path that led her from Prussian Silesia via Saxony, Bavaria, Wuerttemberg and Strasbourg to London. In addition, she uncovers family secrets and finds love in Strasbourg and London. Ludmilla's silver drifting is the path of a girl with a hard childhood to becoming a self-confident woman through adventures, encounters, dramas, love, laughter and experiences.
