There is no fleeing from healing in the twin flame journey. It is true that you can run and hide from the physical reality of it all but you can't escape Spiritual Growth and Evolution. I don't know about other twin flames but for me, it is during the "no contact" phase that I faced my self. I had a lot of generational baggage to unload psychologically, emotionally, physically, and energetically. I believe I had one of the heaviest energy cleansing processes. My healing process repeated itself over and over until I felt in touch with my authentic self. You trying to flee right now is ego based / you think you are in control but you are not. Putting up an inner resistance to what is only brings you more grief, guilt, and anxiety. Just let it all be. Even when you assume you are not in the twin flame journey, that realization alone is a hint that you are in the middle of it. Good Luck with your Spiritual Growth lessons. Your ego will be tamed.
