Published posthumously, this volume includes two key studies by Driver on the Psalms. The first is the article on the 'Prayer Book Version' of the Psalter which he contributed to the 'Prayer Book Dictionary.' The second is his 'The Method of Studying the Psalter, ' which appeared in the 'Expositor.' To these editor Burney has added several unpublished sermons on the Psalms.
