Jonas Jonasson

Jonas Jonasson er en svensk forfatter, der i 2009 fik sit gennembrud med debutromanen ”Den hundredårige som kravlede ud ad vinduet og forsvandt”. Han blev født i 1961 i Sverige og uddannede sig som ung inden for lingvistik i Göteborg. Kort tid efter at han havde afsluttet sin uddannelse, fik han et job som journalist for avisen ”Smålandsposten” og derefter ”Expressen”. Jonas Jonasson havde dog altid drømt om at blive forfatter og efter tyve år i mediebranchen, fik han et større sammenbrud. Han besluttede sig for at skabe en ny tilværelse og flyttede fra Sverige til Schweiz. I Schweiz fik han mulighed for at genoptage sine forfatterdrømme og færdiggøre manuskriptet til sin debutroman. Jonas Jonasson har i dag udgivet tre bøger, der alle er blevet taget godt imod. Hans fortællinger er fantasifulde, underholdende og morsomme. For eksempel handler debutromanen ”De hundredårige som kravlede ud ad vinduet og forsvandt” om Allan Karlsson, der få timer før fejringen..
