Tar is a love story/adventure/tragedy in the tradition of "Doctor Zhivago,", with flavor of "Indiana Jones." Surly an Iranian Lawrence of Arabia. It's based on the story of an American woman who's manipulated and lied to, by her Iranian boyfriend, a member of the anti-SHAH underground movement, to travel to Iran to look for her lost father. Her life was flipped upside down after unknowingly she was set up to plant a bomb that took the lives of many including a little girl. Which made her the most wanted fugitives in the country. Amidst the rebellion struggling to save her life, she gets caught in the turmoil of the 1979 Iranian revolution and parts of, while she continued her search for her father, Roxanna gets to know A MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN CIA agent, DORIAN, who was the mistress of Ayatollah Beheshti one of the main men in the revolution. Roxanna learned Dorian led the plans to remove The Shah of Iran and replace him with Ayatollah Khomeini in the 1979 Iranian revolution all while the CIA and American government claimed they were in the side of the SHAH. Regardless of it all, Roxanna now knows more than she should and is now a liability that she must be eliminated. During her heartbreaking adventure, she challenges the government, the anti-government movement, Khomeini's revolutionary regime and risks her life to gain the love of her father and love of her life, CYRUS, a known writer, and film maker who gave up fame and wealth to save her life. To add to the bittersweet, quest soon they fund out their love is forbidden one, and in the end, one must die to save the others life? Who is the one?
