The recent triumph of Jack over his inner demons in the long-forgotten temple has given him and his companions--Ganderian, Halamar, Hera, Adine, and Rile--a much-needed boost in morale. Armed with his new Oathkeeper daggers, Jack and the other heroes resume their journey toward the northern city of Blackloc to rescue their ally Nrocinu, and to take down the adversary who has been orchestrating the war that has been afflicting the Four Kingdoms of the Continental Trinity. Though for Adine, there are unanswered questions that she has in regards to the recent dreams she has been having. It is in hope that during their quest, she is able to learn the truth of their nature, and her strange connection to the one called "Decidya". The heroes advance toward their destination with resolve to halt the threat of war and the one who wishes to bring it about, but they are completely unaware of the true scope of the enemy they face, and just how far they will have to go to stop his plans from coming to fruition...
