Julia is finally marrying her long term boyfriend Nathaniel La Caz. Unfortunately when she arrives at her grandparents' mansion to ask for their blessing she discovers that her grandmother has been murdered and her grandfather has vanished. From then her whole life begins to crumble. Due to her father being the inspector at the police station he is not allowed to deal with his mother's murder case, however he insists in being part of the investigation. While Julia is trying to juggle her own mystery-filled investigation, royal fairies and a threatening letter, her future husband starts to act like he has been possessed.
