Mina Carlisle is a troublemaker; everyone knows it, everyone expects it. Sent to live with her aunt in Scotland, she makes fast friends with the rebellious clique at Blair High. When she gets caught red-handed vandalizing the school gym, she must pay the consequences. Fiona Ainsley couldn't have been brought up in a more proper family. The daughter of a minister, she's the prime example of virtue and goodness, a model student and an avid Christian. Her good nature may be her undoing, however, when the principal handpicks her for a task her family disagrees with. It is clear from the start of the forced arrangements that Mina and Fiona hold only contempt for one another. Being from very different walks of life, they agree on almost nothing.
