Bag om The Diaries of Afghan School Children

One in seven Afghans lives as a refugee outside of Afghanistan due to half a century of war and misery. For many of these refugees, the dream is to obtain an education or earn enough money so that one day they can return and help rebuild their homeland. This book is the result of such a dream. As a child, I arrived in Denmark with the hope of getting an education and contributing to Afghanistan. When the war ended in August 2021, I decided to give a voice to orphaned girls and boys. Through their own stories, they share this generation’s experiences, hopes, and dreams for a better future for Afghanistan.
