Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. If a man loves God, really loves God, and surrenders his life to Him; to serve Him humbly, and this man has faith, real faith. And then, if this man answers God's call to be an Evangelist; he will see untold numbers saved The Evangelist is a fictional account of such a man, John Henry Calhoun. A man who loved God with his very being, and he loved God more each day of his life. John Henry Calhoun was saved at an early age, and later surrendered his life for service to God. God's call sent him all over the world. These journeys and adventurous experiences taught him faith, real faith. All of the characters in this book are fictional; however, many great men in God's service were inspirational in the writing of this book. Some men were well known by all; while others, only by the ones they touched with their love of God.
