Bag om The Moon Over Athens
Building a love to last a century. When Jhanvi takes a muchneeded vacation to Athens, Greece to attend a lesbian beach getaway and take some time off from her difficult, highly successful career as an interior designer, the last thing she's looking for is the love of her life. Under the moon, she meets Pari, another Punjabi girl who is looking to escape restrictive India for the weekend and lose herself in the waves and women of Athens. After a hookup to remember, Jhanvi leaves behind her favorite bracelet and a sleeping Pari, and boards the next flight back to her lonely life. Neither girl imagines they will see the other again, but fate has other plans. Mr. Sidarth Oberoi, a mysterious gentleman as old as he is wealthy, wants to renovate his haveli and restore it to the glory of his childhood memories. He hires Jhanvi to design the interior and the contracting company that Pari manages for restoration work. Meeting for the first time a world away from the beach, the two try to live as strangers, but find themselves falling deeply in love. They try their hardest to stay away from each other, but it is as useless as the tides trying to resist the pull of the moon. The magic of their relationship is not the only magic in the haveli. As they work, they unearth memories and mystery from a lifetime ago. As Jhanvi and Pari fall into each other, Mr. Oberoi falls apart, haunted by a past he cannot seem to share, and cannot seem to shake. In restoring his childhood home, can they restore peace to his unhappy heart without losing their livelihoods, or their new, blossoming love? Can they build a love that will last?
