Bag om The Reclaimed
In the 1990's, strange creature sightings had been at an all-time high, but were actively passed off as hoaxes, until the city of Broken Edge, Kansas was assaulted and torn asunder by the very creatures the media was trying to cover up. News choppers captured video footage of non human creatures rampaging through the streets. While footage was being broadcast live on all major news stations, it was quickly suppressed. But the survivors wouldn't stay quiet. They appeared on talk shows. Eventually the footage was released to the public. According to the testimony of many survivors, a group of monster hunters had been reported to be active in the city of Broken Edge a few weeks prior to the bloodbath. However when the massacre began, they were reported in the streets, participating in the carnage, seeming to have supernatural control over the beasts that ran innocence down in the streets. The world continued to spin. There was no monster apocalypse, no mark of the beast, and the infrastructure of society remained largely intact. Only now, the world knew that monsters were real. Governments began training and recruiting their own elite groups of hunters, and implementing tactics into police training to deal with criminals with ties to supernatural threats. Eighteen years after the event that reminded humanity why they feared the dark, Detective Mick Johnson, a survivor of the Broken Edge Massacre, has his eyes on a vigilante group who wield strange powers, hunting monsters without the proper credentials and operating outside of the law. In his gut he feels history may repeat itself. But as he is investigating the activities of this new group of unregistered hunters, it may prove to only be a distraction as an eldritch presence stalks him from the shadows, moving closer and closer to his soul. It has its sights set on putting Mick at the center of a New Broken Edge Massacre.
