He's the best flower of all; the best one in the yard!
And he's sick of all the other flowers making his life hard!
At least, that's what Mr. Rose thinks until one cunning canary takes him on a journey which will teach him the value of living amongst others not just like himself.
At this time of year, Kerry Canary would stop by.
To come see this garden, from afar she would fly.
Then she'd spend the whole day, sitting there in a tree
gazing at all the plants that she found so pretty.
But she couldn't help notice that each single day,
there was one pompous voice that kept drifting her way.
Mr. Rose-the loudest flower-was who she'd always hear
as he'd tell all the others how he was top-tier.
Yes. Day after day, he'd puff out his chest,
and he'd boast to the others how he was the best.
