This is the story of the years of the USA under Dwight David Eisenhower. It is largely focused on American foreign policy. The Korean War and the Vietnam War get more coverage than the hula-hoop and the changing roles in American society. The author is a stand-up comedian and is apt to make a wise crack now and then, but this is a highly informative little book.
